On September 8, 1966, a new science fiction television series made its debut on NBC. That series was called “Star Trek”.
Today, with Kinoma Play or Kinoma Player 4 EX, you can now watch full-length episodes of that series on a device smaller than a tricorder.
Set phasers to “awesome”.

You can now see these five classic episodes on-demand:
- Charlie X — A powerful teenage boy wreaks havoc aboard the U.S.S. Enterprise
- The Enemy Within — A transporter malfunction creates an evil Kirk.
- The Naked Time — The Enterprise crew catch a virus that removes their inhibitions.
- Where No Man Has Gone Before — Kirk’s friend is transformed into a god-like entity.
- The City on the Edge of Forever — Kirk and Spock go back in time to restore history.
You can find Star Trek: The Original Series in both Providers > CBS, and Entertainment & Comedy.

Good morning, boys and ghouls!
Today we have some fun Halloween treats for you. You’ll find them in Kinoma Guide > Featured [Halloween Treats]. They won’t ruin your supper, but they will only be available here for a few days.

- Coverville Fifth Annual Halloween Show — Spooky covers of great Halloween music, including Whistlin’ Past The Graveyard, The Theme From “The Munsters”, Little Red Riding Hood, Grim Grinning Ghosts, Thriller, Town Meeting Song, and Monster Mash
- Thriller — Not only do you get the great cover version above, but you also get the entire official Michael Jackson video opus. This scared the candy corn out of my sister and me when we were kids, and it’s still scary fun.
- War of the Worlds — This is the entire 1938 radio dramatization that shocked the world. 70 years ago this program created nationwide panic among confused listeners, many who’d been listening to Charlie McCarthy on another station and in turn warned everyone they could find about the beginning of the end.
Have a happy and safe Halloween!

To say the least, it’s been a roller coaster of a week in the financial markets.
A headline from today’s Wall Street Journal says, “Worst Crisis Since ’30s, With No End Yet in Sight”. More than ever, it’s important to stay in touch with financial news.
To help you do that, I’m happy to announce that Bloomberg Television, Bloomberg Radio and several Bloomberg podcasts are now available in Providers > Bloomberg.

Bloomberg Television and Bloomberg Radio provide live business and financial news 24 hours a day. Bloomberg podcasts provide on-demand access to news and info on everything from world markets to politics to the business of sports.
We hope you’ll find this new content useful, and that it’ll help you navigate the rough financial seas we’re currently sailing though.

As our little part of the democratic process, Kinoma Play and Kinoma Player 4 EX can help you stay on top of the 2008 U.S. Election.
We’ve just refreshed Kinoma Guide’s Election ‘08 category with categories for DNC and RNC speeches, added the official YouTube channels for Barack Obama and John McCain, and created an Analysis & Commentary category for additional coverage from the news media.
