The peo­ple. About 50,000 peo­ple make the jour­ney to the Black Rock Desert in Nevada for a week to go a lit­tle nuts, and express them­selves and rely on them­selves and oth­ers in a way that one gen­er­ally doesn’t get a chance to do. Some­times with­out clothing.

Burn­ing Man in Kinoma Play

For every­one who wishes they were there but isn’t, we’ve cre­ated a Burn­ing Man 2010 cat­e­gory with some great video, audio and pic­tures. It’s got:

• 2010 Art Theme: Metrop­o­lis — Larry Har­vey, the founder of Burn­ing Man, talks about Burn­ing Man and intro­duces the theme of this year’s event.
• Art Instal­la­tion Audio Tours — This is a col­lec­tion of audio tours for some of the biggest and most inter­est­ing art instal­la­tions on the playa.
• Art Instal­la­tion Pho­tos — While you’re lis­ten­ing to the tours, check out photos.
• Burn­ing Man Infor­ma­tion Radio — This audio stream isn’t always avail­able, but while it’s stream­ing you’ll be able to play it here.
• Burn­ing Man Pho­tos — Choose the “Newest” cat­e­gory to see the lat­est pho­tos, or the “Most Inter­est­ing” cat­e­gory to see them by (sur­prise!) interestingness.
• Burn­ing Man Videos — Selected videos posted to YouTube. (To see them all, use Kinoma Play’s YouTube app and search for “burn­ing man 2010″.)
