Kinoma Play YouTube app update now available

It’s Friday night, and we’ve got a piping-hot YouTube app update to go with your weekend.

This update is available right now. It includes enhanced support for YouTube channel subscriptions and supports even more kinds of YouTube content, including VEVO music videos.

YouTube Subscriptions

Kinoma Play + YouTube’s channel subscriptions are the best way to keep up with new videos from your favorite artists and other YouTube users.

You can subscribe to channels by everyone from musicians (“ladygagaofficial” for Lady Gaga), to movie studios (“SummitScreeningRoom” for Twilight trailers), to The Muppets (“MuppetsStudio”). Once you subscribe, new videos will automatically appear your YouTube app under Subscriptions, organized by channel.

This update increases the number of subscriptions you can have from 25 to infinity. Use this power wisely, and only for good (please).

VEVO

This update supports more kinds of YouTube content, including VEVO videos. That’s great news because VEVO is the YouTube partner site created by Universal Music Group, Sony Music Entertainment and EMI three of the world’s four major music labels.

With support for VEVO, this update opens up a new world of great music videos to Kinoma Play users.
