Great new way to sync iTunes with Kinoma Play
iTunes is Apple’s popular music manager. It’s great, but doesn’t play well with others (like Windows Mobile phones).
On the other hand, Kinoma Play plays well with pretty much everything — MP3 and AAC/MP4 audio ripped with iTunes, even purchased iTunes Plus tracks.
So, how do you get an anti-social music manager to sync with the world’s first social media browser?
The solution
We found a great, cross-platform solution for syncing iTunes music, podcasts and playlists with Kinoma Play — Salling Media Sync.
Since phones with Kinoma Play support lots more formats than the phone alone, we worked with the fine folks at Salling Software so that Salling Media Sync automatically identifies phones running Kinoma Play and syncs all the audio formats that Kinoma Play supports.

The great news is that Salling Media Sync is completely free for basic use. For heavy use, Salling Software also has a paid upgrade available that does a much faster “smart sync”.
Here are the download links for the beta releases that include specific support for Kinoma Play:
- Download Salling Media Sync for Windows (beta) [Salling Software]
- Download Salling Media Sync for Mac (beta) [Salling Software]
Notes
- After installing, turn on “Check for beta versions” in Preferences to make sure you get any interim updates to this beta release.
- We recommend that you exit Kinoma Play before syncing, so that any in-use music files don’t interrupt the sync process.
- We invite you to post any questions or feedback about this beta in the Kinoma forum.
