Content sync? Have it your way!

Every time you start Kinoma Player, it automatically scans both your phone and your removable memory card to see if there’s any new stuff that it can play.

Normally that’s exactly what you want — the scanning process is quick, and that way you don’t have to worry about managing Kinoma Player’s media library.

A few of our customers — usually people who like to carry loads of videos and albums with them — like to sync their library manually to cut a few seconds off their startup time.

To do that, you can set Kinoma Player’s Synchronize library preference to Manual.

Then you can manually sync whenever you like by choosing Synchronize Media Library from the Media menu.

So, automatic sync is the right choice for most. But if you’re a power-user that likes to carry around hundreds of files, you might appreciate being able to manually sync Kinoma Player’s media library.
