Kinoma Notes

NPR is National Pub­lic Radio. They’re U.S-based, but known inter­na­tion­ally for excel­lent non-commercial news, talk, and enter­tain­ment programming.

As I write this, NPR pro­duces and dis­trib­utes more than 130 hours of orig­i­nal pro­gram­ming each week, much of it avail­able in Kinoma Media Guide. They also have more than 860 local NPR sta­tions, and the guide also includes lots of pro­grams pro­duced by many of those stations.

But did you know that Kinoma Media Guide also has a live NPR stream? That’s right — you can use Kinoma Player to take NPR with you even when you’re not at home or in your car.

The NPR live stream is an excel­lent option when you want to hear some­thing inter­est­ing but don’t feel like hunt­ing around. You can find it at News > NPR [Live Pro­gram Stream].
