Adjust brightness while using Kinoma Player

Sometimes the video you’re watching is too dark. Maybe it was processed or encoded improperly. Maybe it was shot assuming that it’d be shown at a large size in a darkened living room. Maybe you’re just trying to watch it outside.

You may not realize how easily your can change your brightness, or that you can change it at all. The good news is that only takes seconds, and you don’t even have to leave Kinoma Player to do it.

To change your device’s screen brightness, just press the Option key and then the Brightness key.

When the Adjust Brightness dialog appears, use the Up and Down keys on your 5-way controller to adjust the brightness.

Then, just press the Center key on your 5-way when you’re done.
