Listen to Clear Channel stations, only with Kinoma Player
With over 1,000 FM and AM stations, Clear Channel Communications is the largest owner of radio stations in the U.S.
Here’s yet another reason why Kinoma Player is the best media player for Palm OS — Kinoma Player is only player that lets you listen to Clear Channel radio stations on your Treo.
How do I know if a station is a Clear Channel station?
To find out if a station is owned by Clear Channel, use the Radio Search feature on their site.
Their search functionality is nice and flexible. You can search by format (i.e. “sports”), call letters (i.e. “WHTZ”), city and state.
How do I play a Clear Channel station?
There’s a super-simple formula that will allow you to play all Clear Channel stations.
- Go to the station’s web site
- Use Open URL and enter the station’s domain name, followed by “cc-common/streaming_new/”
For example, to listen to Z100, use “http://www.z100.com/cc-common/streaming_new/”.

To bookmark it for future use, just click Bookmark instead of OK.
