Kinoma Player: Ready for the Palm Centro!
At the DigitalLife conference yesterday, Palm announced their latest smartphone — the Palm Centro.
As a premier Palm OS developer, Kinoma has had the opportunity to use the Centro for several months. We’re really excited about it, and the current release of Kinoma Player 4 EX already works great on Palm’s smallest, lightest and most affordable phone ever.

And as TreoCentral notes in their hands-on:
…it has the necessary parts of Kinoma to stream YouTube Mobile videos, which should help with their target market quite a bit.
It’s true — like their other Palm OS phones, every Palm Centro has Kinoma software inside to power its video and audio streaming, including the ability to watch YouTube and Sprint TV.
Congratulations to all of our friends at Palm!

Love the upgrade to 4.4 with the search capabilities.
Also, while I love the Clear Channel format lab, there are other radio stations in my market that launch their players with a flash player
i.e.: http://cbsplayer.streamtheworld.com/index.php?CALLSIGN=WUSNFM
Will Kinoma be able to access flash based players at some point in the future?
