TiVo Desktop Plus

TiVo Desktop is TiVo’s utility for shuffling media to and fro between their TiVo PVRs and their Mac or PC. TiVo Desktop Plus ($25) adds some nice features, like the ability to export media for portable devices.

The recently-released TiVo Desktop 2.5 Plus supports Kinoma Player.

Just go to your TiVo Recordings, select the recordings you want to convert, choose Actions > Convert For, and choose Treo 650.

Although it specifies “Treo 650″, this same preset works great for Kinoma Player on 700p’s and 755p’s (and whatever comes next).

If you have other ideas for improving integration between TiVo’s and Kinoma Player, please let us know!
