Yes, it’s true — we just did a significant Kinoma Player update on Monday, and now we have a minor update today. Here’s why…

In the wee hours of the morning (in our time zone, at least), YouTube did a maintenance update that broke content links. We started working on a fix immediately, and I’m very happy to announce that it’s now available.

This update is (of course) free for Kinoma Player 4 EX customers. If you don’t yet have Kinoma Player, you can buy it here or upgrade from Kinoma Player 3 here.

How to update

If your Palm smartphone or handheld has an internet connection, just choose Check for updates from the Media menu. Otherwise, you can update from your PC.

We recommend that you get the 4.3.1 update today. If you have questions or comments, please let us know in our forums.

Note: YouTube is experiencing some serious performance issues today that may affect playback in Kinoma Player, and it might take them a few days to figure what’s going on.
