New tech note: Optimizing feeds for Kinoma Player

Kinoma tech notes are technical mini-documents meant for software and content developers. We’ve just posted a new tech note that describes how to create and optimize RSS and OPML feeds for Kinoma Player 4 EX, which are used to create Kinoma Player categories and channels.

In addition to general guidelines that are useful for anybody creating podcast feeds, we’ve opened up about some previously-undocumented, Kinoma Player-specific features.

This tech note doesn’t describe how to optimize video and audio content for playback with Kinoma Player. For that, refer to the Kinoma Player 4 EX documentation or use an encoding tool (such as Kinoma Producer 4) created especially for that purpose. Also, the Kinoma forum is a great place to ask specific questions about optimizing content for Kinoma Player.

We love to get feedback. Don’t hesitate to contact us if you have questions or suggestions, or if there’s another tech note you’d like to see.
