More ways to YouTube down the Kinoma river

We’re proud that Kinoma Player 4 EX was the first mobile player to support YouTube. While people without Kinoma Player were waiting for YouTube to introduce its mobile portal, customers like you have enjoying YouTube using the Kinoma Media Guide, and by opening URLs directly to their favorite videos.

Recently YouTube opened it’s mobile site, m.youtube.com, which gives Kinoma Player users another way to enjoy YouTube on their devices.

The videos at m.youtube.com are lower-quality than the ones you can find through the Kinoma Media Guide. However, you might find that they play better on slow networks, or at times when your normally-fast data connection is running a little slow.

To use YouTube’s mobile site, first open Blazer (normally called “Web” in your launcher) and go to m.youtube.com.

Then, pick your video, or scroll down to the bottom to see more categories.

Finally, choose Watch Video. The “0” to the left of Watch Video indicates that you can just press the number zero key to watch the video.

Since YouTube’s mobile videos are encoded at a very small size, we can use the “+” the bottom of the screen to make the video larger.
